Mr. Kennett,
Principal

Meet Brad
Kennett. He has been employed by the Red Lake Falls Public Schools
for the last 16 years. Brad holds many jobs here at Lafayette. Not
only is he the principal but he is also the Activities Director
and Head Hockey Coach. After graduating from B.S.U in 1994. Mr. Kennett
was hired as Hockey Coach for the Lafayette High School Eagles and
Physical Education teacher at JA Hughes Elementary.
Mr.
Kennett and his wife Kris, who also holds several positions at
Lafayette, have two wonderful sons, Zak and Ty.
In his spare time Mr. Kennett
enjoys fishing, hunting, and sports. Some of his favorites would be
Walleye fishing, Grouse Hunting, and watching college and NHL Hockey. |

Bonnie Pahlen
Meet Bonnie, she is an Administrative Assistant
for the principal at the Lafayette High School. Bonnie has been working
at the school for the last 17 years. Bonnie decided to come work at
Lafayette because she wanted a job where she could be home with her
kids through the school year and during the summer months. Even
though Bonnie wouldn't call it memorable the thing she will never forget
while working at the Lafayette High School was the "lunch room incident"
involving the Foreign exchange students and some of the other students.
Bonnie and her Husband Frank have been
married for 35 years they have four great kids, Luke, Shasta, Lacey, and
Andrew. They also have five wonderful grandchildren, Lillyan, Daniel,
Masen, Maxamus, and Isabel. In her spare time Bonnie likes to go to the
lake, fish, hunt, and garden. But most of all she loves to take care of
her grandkids.
When asked what are
some of your favorite things she said “My kids and Grandchildren.” |

Cindy Ducharme
Meet Cindy, an Administrative Assistant for the
Dean of Students at Lafayette High School. Cindy has been working at
the school for the last 15 years. After selling her family’s Restaurant
‘Cindy’s Café’ she decided to work at Lafayette. Cindy loves kids so it
seemed like a good fit for her. One of Cindy's most memorable
moments while working at Lafayette was when Jim Tvedt, Emma Kees,
Marilyn Wieland, and a couple others did a skit for Homecoming.
They sang Splish Splash I was taking a bath. She said it was so
funny and great to see the school spirit from the staff!
Cindy and her husband Allen have two
daughters, Tina and Brenda, and one granddaughter, Jade. In her spare
time Cindy loves to read, garden, anything having to do with computers
and of course, bake!
When asked what are some of your favorite
things she said “Reading, computers and the wonderful students at
Lafayette.” |
