Ben Hanson has been the head softball coach for 7 years.  He attended Northland Community and Technical College, where he earned an Associate of Arts Degree;  Bemidji State University, where he earned a  Bachelor of Science  in English Education Degree and earned a  Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas.  
 

He played basketball in high school and football in both high school and college. Some of his favorite memories came from playing athletics against Grygla, Clearbrook, Red Lake Falls, and Stephen-Argyle.  Winning the Division at Northland  was also a lot of fun.
